Confirmation

Preparation for Confirmation: This sacrament is celebrated with students in the Fall of their 9th Grade year. Preparation includes the 8 years of CCD or Catholic School and special events that allow these young teens understand the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Confirmation Candidates will be interviewed by the Pastoral Staff members in August. 

Each candidate is asked to:   

Choosing a Confirmation name:   Candidates can choose a name of a Saint or a person who truly inspires the to live a good life.  Then write a short paragraph telling us why you choose this name.  To help find a saint's name you can click here and research all the different saints, and angels. 

Service:  Candidates are asked to go out and help someone in need.  It could be helping out around the house, a neighbor, food pantry, or whatever you can think of.  Write a short paragraph on what you did and how you felt afterwards.

Confirmation Interview:  Each Candidate will be interviewed by either, Fr. Kevin, Mrs. Budd, Deacon Joe, or Dana Pivik.  Interviews will be conducted on August 19-21th from 1-3 or 6:30-8:00.  Please contact Dana to set up your interview.  (412) 563-1414
