 USHERS NEEDED!!

St. Winifred is looking for any youth in grades 7-12 to be an usher once a month when the second collection is for youth programs.  We are in need of 5 youth per mass.  Please let Dana or Mrs. Budd know if you are interested. 

 Summer Fun Activities!

The summer events will conclude August 24, 2008.  We would like to thank all the parents who helped chaperone events.  We would also like to thank everyone at St. Winifred Parish for all of your help and support this summer. 

 Papal Visit

Maura, Clara, Elizabeth, Sean, Ceci and Dana would like to thank St. Winifred Parish for all there prayers when they traveled to Washington DC to see Pope Benedict XVI.  We all had an amazing time.  To see some pictures and read about our trip there is a display in the St. Winifred Chapel in the back of church.  Don't forget to pick up a Pope Benedict medal that was blessed by the Pope. 

The Papal Visit to the United States has received a lot of media attention.  St. Winifred's group was fortunate to be interviewed by David Highfield from KDKA.  The story was aired on April 14 to watch the video and read the story click here.
