S.W.A.T. Team Members NEEDED!!

St. Winifred will be traveling to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on October 9th.  We will be leaving at 6:00 AM and traveling to DC by bus with the Diocese of Pittsburgh lead by Bishop Zubik.  the Bus will be returning to St. Winifred at 11:00 PM.  the cost is $25.00 for transportation and a boxed dinner.  you are on your own for lunch and any gifts you would like to purchase.

Permission Slips and Money is due on October 10th for the Gateway Clipper Cruise on November 7th.  Cost is $30.00 for dinner, dancing, and a 3 hour boat tour.  If you would like to go make sure your permission slips are turned in on time.

Papal Visit

Maura, Clara, Elizabeth, Sean, Ceci and Dana would like to thank St. Winifred Parish for all there prayers when they traveled to Washington DC to see Pope Benedict XVI.  We all had an amazing time.  To see some pictures and read about our trip there is a display in the St. Winifred Chapel in the back of church.  Don't forget to pick up a Pope Benedict medal that was blessed by the Pope.
