Who can come to Youth Ministry?

Youth Ministry is for anyone in grades 9-12!  Everyone is welcome to attend any function.  You do not have to be Catholic to attend a meeting or activity.  Friends are always welcome!  The more the merrier!!  If permission slips are due for the event they are due 7 days in advance unless otherwise stated, check the schedule of events page.

Who runs the meetings?

The Youth Minister plans, runs the meetings and organizes the events, her name is Dana Pivik.  However, at some point we would like to see the youth take over some planning and running of the meetings.  We also have generous youth adults, adults and parents serve as chaperones, drivers, and help in countless other ways. 

What do you need to know about Dana?  Dana was born and raised in Pittsburgh.  She loves her chocolate and caffeine usually having a Dr. Pepper or Pepsi in her hand.  After teaching in Virginia Beach for 4.5 years she moved back to "da burgh" to be closeer to her family.

Where does Youth Ministry meet?

Youth Ministry meets usually twice a month from 7:00-8:30pm in our Youth Room.  Located on the 3rd floor of the O'Shea Center.  This room was created just for you so we can talk, pray, learn, laugh and help others in our own space.  Check out the schedule of events page for a list of our meetings dates.

Why come to Youth Ministry?

Youth Ministry is a place where teens come and talk about subjects that relate to there lives.  In a safe place for everyone to come, meet new people, relax and have fun.

When does Youth Ministry meet?
