Living Spirit

Living Spirit, formerly known as the Contemporary Choir, primarily ministers at the 4:30 pm. Saturday Mass. The group contains a core of talented singers who love to lift up their praise to the Lord. Joining the group weekly are a core of instrumentalists including piano, keyboard, guitar, flute, and violin. The group always welcomes new and interested players and singers. The repertoire is primarily contemporary Catholic and Christian Music along with the focus of the church's traditional music such as chant adapted for the ensemble.

Membership: High School Students and Older.
Rehearsals: 3:30 p.m., Saturday Evening prior to the 4:30 p.m. Mass.

 

One Voice

One Voice, formerly known as the Traditional Choir, primarily ministers every Sunday at the 10:30 am Sunday Mass from September through Pentecost Sunday. The group ministers the parish during special days during the year such as Thanksgiving Morning, Christmas, Easter, Festival of Lessons and Carols, and other concert opportunities at the parish. The group focuses on an eclectic range of repertoire including Gregorian Chant, Polyphonic Motets, Anthems, and music written by today's composers in classical, gospel, and contemporary style. Members are expected to obtain a strong commitment to the parish by regular attendance and the willingness to improve on vocal technique.

Membership: High School Students and Older.
Rehearsal: Thursday 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Choir Room or Church
